Rob Dougherty 

Rob Dougherty graduated from SUNY IT of Utica, NY (State University of NY Information Technology) in 2006 with a Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering. Soon after, he started at Island Tech Services in June of 2006. Rob was hired as a Network Technician and was the third employee of Island Tech Service with Bob and Pete. At that time he was responsible for network support and installations. In 2016, Rob was promoted to Network Manager and soon after Director of IT. As Director of IT he was responsible for the management and operations of network support. In 2022, Rob was promoted to COO of Island Tech Services. As COO, he is responsible for designing and implementing vehicle and network support operations, developing policies and strategies that promote company culture and vision, setting goals for performance and growth, overseeing daily operations, management and logistics of inventory and supplies and participate in expansion activities. From 2004 - 2005, Rob was a network assistant intern at Loop-Loc Pool Covers where he setup, upgraded and maintenance computers, printers, and programs. From 2005 – 2006, he was a network assistant intern at Telebytes Inc in Greenlawn NY, where he setup and maintenance computers and servers, installed applications and developed IT procedures.

In his free time, Rob is on a Co-Ed softball league and enjoys spending time with his family watching movies, going to the park and going on family vacations.
